Fun with cousins and animals ...
Family time –week 7
I am going to talk about all the things I have done at my aunt and uncle’s house. I’ve spent a lot of time with my cousin, Clemence going on the seesaw, playing Uno in their caravan, playing ping pong and looking at the animals! Here we have dinner at 9.00pm so I don’t go to bed until 11.00pm and sometimes not wake up until 10.30am!
A couple of days ago we went to Laon and saw a Cathedral. It was my favourite because it was all symmetrical. All the windows were bright colours; purples and pinks which was not like the other cathedrals.
On Monday I went to a farm and saw how hay is made into big balls from a special machine. On the farm we saw lots of pigeons, 2 dogs, a horse named Titus, a ferret,1 bunny and a budgie. After we saw all that, we went to a harvesting field to see how big balls are made. I had a turn in the tractor with my Dad and my mum had a turn with Clemence. Then we went to a harvester. I stayed in the car because I didn’t mind if I didn’t see it. Then we went to another farm which had cows and calves. The calves were so cute; they licked me so much! Next to them were some bulls and outside there were females.
Yesterday my grandmother had a doctor’s appointment in Rouen. While we were waiting we went to a Cathedral which was painted by Monet.
